What we buy

Why surplus accumulates

Wire is bought in project quantities. When a project is redesigned, delayed or finished with material left over, the remainder stays on a rack because it is too valuable to discard and too small to return. Multiply that across a plant or a distributor and the inventory becomes significant.

Shutdowns, relocations, code upgrades and cancelled expansions produce larger lots, often with documentation and sometimes with test records. Both situations are workable; they simply need different information.
