What we are
Electrical Wire Buyers Pennsylvania is an independent buyer of surplus electrical wire and cable. We work with electrical contractors, manufacturing plants, distributors, utilities, data centers, hospitals, universities, demolition contractors and commercial property owners across all 67 counties.
Our focus is narrow on purpose. Wire and cable only. That focus is what allows us to read a reel tag, identify a construction from the jacket print, and understand why a 15 kV shielded cable from a substation is evaluated differently from a pallet of 12 AWG THHN.
How we evaluate material
Every inventory is reviewed on the same framework: what the wire is, how much usable length remains, what condition it is in, what documentation exists, and what the local market can absorb. We quote as wire when resale is realistic and say so when recovery is the honest answer.
We do not publish invented prices, guaranteed offers or testimonials. A quote is a real number based on the material in front of us, and it is put in writing with its terms.
Coverage
We review inventories statewide: Philadelphia and the southeastern counties, the Lehigh Valley, Pittsburgh and southwestern Pennsylvania, Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg, Lancaster and York, Erie and the northwest, and the northern tier. Coverage means where we can review and arrange pickup, not that we operate a branch in every community.
What we will not do
- Buy or comment on equipment outside wire and cable
- Promise a price before seeing the material
- Ask you to destroy usable cable to prepare a lot
- Publish customer names or purchase details
